Bidrage med feedbackI ordered a veggie burger and it was extremly dry and the taste wasn't as I expected. The bread was so hard I cound't eat it. Really disappointed.
Travelled to Vienna for a week eating out everyday, and this was the worst place I ate in. - Upon entry I was looked at and not attended to- They just pointed at the table to sit at- Not given the menu to begin with and not offered a drink - Approx 10mins to be actually attended to- I was eating alone and they still got my drink order wrong- The rump steak was average. (Especially when holding the name "Asador")- If you love steak and appreciate good service - Stay awayMaybe the fact they saw me young, they didn't consider me a valued customer. They should learn to understand every customer is an important one. Especially the young who are always connected!
OK, the place is not stylish as it has been converted from an old, low budget Viennese "Beisl" (cheap restaurant). They serve South American dishes but the reason to come here is the filet steak. Forget most of the other talked about steak restaurants in the city, they are not as good. The steak is perfectly done, warm inside even when ordered rare, and of excellent quality. Add one of the special salsas (I prefer the salsa picante, well worth its name) and maybe a fresh green salad with its nice dressing (and immediately ask if they should forget the salad dressing, they sometimes do). And treat yourself to a glass of the nice red house wine, served rather cold but that´s doing fine. Close the meal with an excellent espresso and maybe one of the argentinian sweets if you see some under the glass cuppola on the bar.
Nice little quaint steakhouse, with outstanding meat and tons of home made food. The provolone as an appetizer was heavenly, coupled with some chorizo just started the night off on the right foot. The steaks were huge and although slightly undercooked I thought they were nonetheless superb. The service was excellent and attentive, and the dessert selection just perfect. Highly recommend!
Went here on recommendation from friends to a special evening celebrating the famous Malbec wines of Argentina. We were a smallish group. The restaurant was packed and we had different wines with every course - even pudding! The food was exceptional - great range of appetisers (if a little filling!), lots of steak and sausages (wow!). Can't remember the pudding except that it was delicious...a super evening. They also did an asado for us at the Niederweiden Polo Club on Saturday - absolutely divine food and service from a truly wonderful team!
