Al-Badawi - Vienna

I visited this place once with a few friends and we almost ordered a little bit of everything to have tried them, and we were all happy with the food and drinks quality. i think it was a saturday or sunday night so there was also live belly dance. overall we were happy with the food and the service, and the prices were fine.

Everything was perfect: kind staff, really tasty food, cosy ambiance.. And not that expensive ! I would definitely recommend this place for dinner !!

I visited Al Badawi while I was on vacation in Vienna in September 2014. Being a Lebanese, I can guarantee that the food is truly authentic, the taste is original. We ordered a salad (fattouch), potato with coriander, hummus (of course) and chicken skewers. The food was delicious and the staff was very helpful. Other than trying Lebanese food, you can have the chance to try Lebanese beer as well as it is served in their restaurant. The restaurant can be considered as expensive, given that you are having specialty Lebanese food in the heart of Vienna. If you are a fan of mediterranean food, make sure you drop by this place.

The restaurant offers typical Lebanese food. I enjoyed all of my courses, but the portions were quite small. Obviously, not every restaurant offers massive portions, but I was a little disappointed with the sizes served. Plus the prices are not cheap, 13 euros for a main course of just rice and diced lamb is a bit expensive. On the whole, tasty food but not for massive appetites..
