Bidrage med feedbackI was here a lot. If you are looking for a fast meal and good BBQ at a reasonable price, this is a great place for you. It is not where you would go for a culinary experience and ambience, that is faster food than it is restaurant. I love the food here. Everything is excellent, although I would rate the Brisket as my favorite. You have daily combo specials if you want to try new things. Large sides to go with their big BBQ meats. You also have a frozen ice machine for a free desert if you are so inclined. I think it's pretty like a delicious palate cleaner before I go back to the office.
Their brisket is some of the best in the area. The sides here don't disappoint either, I love their green brleans and fried okra. And any place that also serves pickles and onions is doing BBQ right!
During our long journey to Florida, our family stopped at this restaurant. We tried several side dishes and particularly loved the baked potato, onion rings, and potato casserole. All of our main dishes were enjoyable, but the standout was the beef brisket, which was lean and packed with flavor! I especially appreciated the spicy BBQ sauce paired with the original sauce. A nice bonus for the kids was the free ice cream. We will definitely stop by again when we’re in the area!
This restaurant is fantastic! The ribs are absolutely delicious! Make sure to give them a try; you won’t regret it!
I ordered takeout for lunch from Dickies Vienna, hoping for a satisfying meal since it's conveniently located near my workplace. Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. I chose a meat plate that included sliced brisket, coleslaw, and beans. However, the brisket was chopped instead of sliced and surprisingly chewy. It lacked the pink smoke ring and any notable smoke flavor, suggesting it was either gas or electric smoked rather than wood-fired. While it's possible to make great BBQ with a gas or electric smoker, this wasn't one of those cases. The barbecue sauce was nothing extraordinary, and while the beans were decent, they felt like they were just tossed together—think of something like Bush's Beans. On a positive note, the coleslaw was quite good. Overall, if you're looking for great BBQ in the area, I would recommend checking out Famous Dave's or Red Hot and Blue, as they are both significantly better chain options.
