Vitelli's Deli - Victorville

Stopped in since I was taking a drug test next door, I’ve been in this area 4 times and figured now I’d finally stop by and check it out. And I’m glad I did, I bought the Vitelli’s Pastrami Hot Sandwich and it was delicious. The Pastrami was not too salty just the right amount, it was not overcooked or too chewy, and for it being a “half” size you get a decent amount of sandwich.

We split an Italian Sub for lunch, it was delicious.

The sandwiches, both pastrami and Italian, at this restaurant are fantastic. The atmosphere is peaceful and not overly crowded. The prices are a bit high, but that seems to be the norm nowadays.

The sandwiches are tasty but expensive. The other dishes, like the cheesecake, are mediocre, but I suggest trying the meatball sub. However, recently, this place has declined in quality, possibly due to COVID. The sandwiches are no longer as good as they used to be, with bread that now tastes like something from a grocery store. The sides, which used to be delicious, now smell like the fridge they are stored in.

I recently visited this restaurant and had one of the worst dining experiences ever! We ordered 5 sandwiches which were so terrible that we ended up throwing them away. The customer service was extremely rude, disrespectful, and overall awful. The sodas we ordered were prepared 30 minutes before our food arrived and had become watered down. When we asked for them to be remade, the staff responded rudely and the sodas still lacked syrup. Despite paying over $100 for our order, there was nothing positive about it. The sandwiches seemed to be microwaved and the food did not appear fresh. Just take a look at the pictures and you will see what I am talking about. I definitely do not recommend this place!
