The Breakwater Cafe Bistro - Victoria

We dropped in for a bite and both ordered meatloaf. Now when it comes to meatloaf I'm very picky and surprised myself by ordering it. It was fantastic! The delicious and creamy mashed potatoes and gravy just added to the taste buds. Very impressed with how the meatloaf was made and was surprised with the contents that added to the flavour and moisture of the meat. Will definitely be back there again. Thoroughly loved the smiling and fun staff.

I helped organize a birthday party/DJ show last night, and it was a very good night for everyone! Dinner upstairs was nice, great view and my burger was a proper burger! Party downstairs was such a blast, even random cruise ship people joined us and got down to the tunes! The vibe was great, staff are awesome, and the dance floor being outside, but enclosed, added a private element, while at the same time it was nice and breezy for people dancing. Shout-out to Elliot on staff, thanks for helping with the sound system and having such a positive attitude while I was stressing trying to get it all to work on time. Thanks for everything Breakwater!

I've eaten there a few times now and without fail the food has been terrific. I had the burger last night and it was amazing. Great selection of beer and spirits and the servers were lovely.

We were a group of eight for dinner and were able to be seated right away. The view is great. The building layout is not amazing but we were not there for an architectural review but dinner with friends. Our group was happy with the food. It’s not fine dining but given the good value for the money it was a good experience. The restaurant was not busy when we visited which made it easy to talk. Parking is easy as they have their own free parking. They are collocated with cruise ship terminal so it’s easy to imagine traffic being crazy when a cruise ship dumps a few thousand people.

This a great place to have dinner, coffee or desserts after a walk on Victoria s Dallas rd waterfront. Good menu selections at reasonable prices. Great nachos. Tonight we had a glass of Grafigna Malbec with chocolate tart.Mmmm. Personnel is very friendly. The view of the pier and the cruise boat terminal is very nice.
