Sushi Harbor Japanese Restaurant

We are regulars and can't say enough about this amazing sushi restaurant. I hate to even complain, but today's service was THE WORST we've ever had. I don't know the servers name but she has short blonde hair and very round glasses. She's very young. My husband and I have never been treated so poorly (considering the staff is usually AMAZING) this girl had a terrible attitude, never smiled once, anytime we asked for something she basically made us feel like it was "such a chore" or it was "such an inconvenience" we were never offered beverages, and never even brought water. We weren't served for over 15 minutes to begin with, without even a quick "I'll be right with you"If we came back in and she was the server, we've decided we would not stay, we would go elsewhere. Really unfortunate situation, since we eat there 1-2 times a week!!!

Service was great. Roll portions were small with higher prices than many other Japanese food restaurants on the island. The food taste was missing something. Perhaps the cook should experience the food taste from other Japanese food places in downtown Victoria or Nori in Nanaimo where people are lined up outside the door to get in. (Price, meal size and taste can be improved and equate to more customers).

We've been here a couple times now and it's been great both times. Really like the way they do chicken karaage and will get the the Geisha wrap again. Good value and friendly staff.

Great bento box deals, friendly service, clean, modern decor. Great tasting sushi rice, (awesome steak sauce to order with rice, fyi), fresh fish. Prompt takeout service, as well.

Everything was good. A little disappointed at the quality of salmon considering we are beside the ocean. I took a look at it before ordering. Very cheap. No fat lines and very dark. Menu says wild sockeye. Looked more like frozen pink salmon. I didn't order it. Had a chicken teriyaki bento box. All was good, but who does broccoli tempura. Left that behind. Price is right and I will come again.
