Sizzling Tandoor Restaurant - Victoria

Visiting Victoria, BC during the 150th Birthday Weekend!__Made a reservation ahead, and showed up 15 minutes early, and we were seated right away.

Excellent food, good service, authentic Indian foodI had the butter chicken curry, extra hot.

It's okay here. It's not bad or good...$12 lunch buffet. Easy and quick eat multiple Indian meals same plate! Good to try!

We were visiting Victoria and this restaurant was across the street. My husband is Indian and it was his birthday. When we walked in most of the customers were Indian which my husband took as a good sign. I knew it had pretty good TA reviews and saw that they would adjust the spice level which I took as a very good sign for me. Good service. Tasty naan. We both enjoyed it. If we were able to share dishes this place would have been cheap. Since I am a spice wimp, we each ordered a dish and had lots leftover. And even though I didn't finish my dinner, I was not about to skip gulab jamon (dessert) and you shouldn't either. Would be great for a group.

My partner and I popped into the Sizzling Tandoor restaurant just after 5pm and managed to get in and served before the place got busy. The staff serving were polite and quick to get our drinks out to us. Our order for food was taken and on our table before we knew it, even though the place had really started to fill. The food was great and so very tasty. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Victoria and looking for great Indian food.
