We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while searching for a breakfast spot, and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be! The staff we interacted with were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. This cozy cafe has a laid-back atmosphere and offers a mouthwatering brunch menu featuring elevated, simple, and hearty dishes with a hint of African influence. They also have a variety of delicious vegetarian options and excellent coffee. We're excited to come back and try their dinner menu after reading rave reviews online. Can't wait to visit again!

I can't believe it took me this long to write a review! This restaurant is our favorite spot for a top-notch brunch in the greater Victoria area. The service is excellent and the staff really know their food. The dishes are consistently delicious every single time. The house-made hot sauce is also outstanding. The food here is truly world-class, and having lived in big cities all my life, I can say it's on par with the best. It's hard to find a place in Victoria of this caliber, but it's definitely worth the wait and the drive to get there.

The restaurant always has a waiting line, but the wait is usually short, around 10-15 minutes. The servers are friendly and welcoming. Once seated, you have to go to the counter to order and pay for your meal, which means you don't have the option to tip the servers afterwards. The restaurant has a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere. The food is delicious, especially the jollof rice which is prepared in the Ghanaian style with good spice. The presentation of the food is also impressive.

We stopped here for brunch on a lovely sunny day and sat on their dog-friendly patio. We ordered the jerk pork belly sandwich and crab benny, with a side Jamaican patty. Everything was delicious, flavourful, and brought the West African and Jamaican flair. The presentation of the dishes were beautiful and colourful, really inviting you to eat with your eyes first. Service was friendly and accommodating to our two dogs that enjoyed some shade while we brunched.

Wow! Hands down one of my favorite restaurants ever! I love the unpretentious fine-dining vibe this place has. It's fine dining only in all the right ways! You can feel that every plate is thoughtfully made with love, great quality materials, and the flavor is tastefully balanced to perfection. You can’t go wrong with any of the dishes here
