Yea, the food here won't blow your pallet away, tastes like "Chinese take-out" staff were super friendly as were all the locals who seem to love the place and the people who work here. Even the local constables who we sat next to and chatted with during our meal. The place feels like family, safe and funky fun. Better food, and it would be a real gem! there is no decore to speak of, and they were a bit lazy about getting the tables cleaned up after people left which wasn't entirely appetizing. Prices average about $15.00 per plate, a bit high for Chinese street food perhaps, but we didn't leave hungry. Overall average, but a hit on the fun side with super friendly staff.

We selected the Dinner for 2 and had plenty left over to take back to our hotel for another meal. Stopped by for take out and found this to be a decent looking restaurant. The service was good/fast. The food was very hot even after 10 min drive to my hotel. The portions are very generous so be prepared for leftovers. Generally a decent Chinese food experience. Would recommend for an evening out in Victoria.

We don't expect much entering into a restaurant next too Tim Hortons and Subway with simple decor BUT! They have the very best Fish and Braised Tofu Hot Pot in Town. Not sure about the other dishes bur suspect it might be standardized fair to suit our western tastes. The rice is provided in a steamy large rice server with a top keeping it hot and yummy. Prices are very good and it's a clean safe place to relax. I eat there weekly now while on an IT contract here and love it!
