Fountain Diner - Victoria

So after being told how great this place is I finally had the chance to go to the Fountain Diner. Being Easter Monday I wasn’t sure how busy they would be but they were able to seat me on their heated patio. The Fountain Diner is a quaint little spot with what looks like about 30 seats inside and another 12-15 outside. The menu has a great selection of diner food. Their breakfast menu is available all day too. I opted for their fried chicken burger but noticed they had a Louisiana style fried chicken Benny so I asked if they could toss my chicken burger patty in the Louisiana hot sauce. The burger was hot and fresh and very tasty! This chicken burger was served on a nicely toasted bun and had nice fresh lettuce and tomatoes and diced pickles (perfectly suited with the Louisiana hot sauce) and was a very good portion. The fries were hot and crispy and lightly seasoned and also a very good portion. The prices are right in line with what you’d expect to pay for good quality food. And the service was very good. From the person that seated me to the servers that took my order and brought my food, er tone was friendly and efficient. I’ll definitely go back to the Fountain Diner.

Old fashion menus and old fashion vibe. The breakfast are so big that I couldn’t finish it. Overall it’s a great place to try.

Great local diner. Had their smoked meat skillet and love their style of potatoes they use. It is fully loaded and can easily serve two people. I will definitely come back to try their other menu items.

Very unsatisfied with the appearance of my breakfast dish. Ordered the belmont benny and the chicken waffles coming to a total of $45! We do not recommend take out at this establishment.

I've tried this place twice now and both times have not been disappointed. Once for breakfast and once for lunch. Both times service was quick and the food was delicious. Seating seemed a little tight in someplaces but the overall atmosphere was good and the servers were friendly. Will definitely be back.
