My redfish had a strong odor and the turnip greens lacked flavor. The rest of my party was also unimpressed with the food. The fried pickles were tasty, but quite spicy.

Food was amazing, got grilled red snapper, fried okra, black eye peas, and turnip greens. My husband got snapper and Mac and cheese. Our waitress Charlotte was wonderful. She made a great **** Mary and Long Island ice tea. Will go again soon.

We were on the hunt for some good seafood and we found it! I had the platter and my wife had the 1 pound of boiled shrimp... well... she ordered it.. but we both got plenty out of it with some to take home. Everything was very good and it satisfied our need for the sea.... food. I got some Boudin Balls to take with us as a travel snack and they too, were simply amazing. Everything was seasoned perfectly and tasted great. Add to that a very friendly staff and it made for the perfect dinner.

Damn good food! Great customer service, I'm terrible with name, but the guy who made my food and took my order my first time, was very polite and had a conversation with me as we know a while! Just great to the people of the earth! Who has eaten here or in the Bovina Café knows that the best food comes from these little places like this, which are honest people who care about their customers. Great place for a Poboy!
