Crowdy place, but a must if in Perugia! The charcuterie plates are spectacular and come with lots of different products. We had the gourmet plate for two persons and it was more than enough for dinner. We were also provided with some explanations about the different components on the plate. The Prosciutteria di Perugia is undoubtedly the best place to eat typical Perugian food. At first glance the place may seem small but in reality it is large as it is spread over several floors connected to each other by stairs. The staff is very kind, super welcoming and professional, the menu is full of many options, even for those who are vegan or have food intolerances. The food is of excellent quality, as are the ingredients which are fresh and grown at 0 km. But its strong point remains the price. And it is no coincidence that the Prosciutteria is among the cheapest places to have an excellent lunch/dinner. To give you an example, my best friend and I went recently and we bought two flatbreads, two bottles of natural water and two warm-hearted cakes and we only spent 25 euros. Let me be clear, this is my personal experience in the sense that the price depends on what you get, but here you have to realize how cheap the place is. In any case, I will be back very soon. Small place where you can eat quickly, easy-going and spartan, but suggestive. The quality of the products, especially the cured meats, is excellent and appropriate for the price. It is possible to have free water from the tap, filling glass bottles that the restaurant makes available. When there are a lot of people you have to go and order indoors. You set the table yourself with placemats and paper plates. The service is kind and when they bring the cutting boards they explain all the products that make them up.
