Expedited service: 1) the dishes arrive before the wine order is made!!!! 2) we feel that my servers want to finish quickly. 3) no desire to satisfy customers or put them at ease. Regarding the dishes: 1) Salad stirred in advance and therefore cooked and unappetizing. 2) The lake perch fillets are good, but a little soft, not crunchy. Very disappointing . I recently had the pleasure of dining here with family, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience. Nestled in the charming village of Hermance and boasting a breathtaking view of Geneva Lake, this restaurant offers much more than just great food. Luckily, the staff seated us at a table with a perfect view of the sunset over the lake. It was truly a picture perfect setting. Now, let's talk about the food. The beef filet I ordered was nothing short of perfection. Cooked to absolute precision, each bite melted in my mouth, bursting with exceptional flavors. It exceeded my expectations and left me craving more. A definite must try! While the filets de perches may have been just okay, it was overshadowed by the overall dining experience. Oh, the desserts! It would be a sin not to mention them. The exquisite treats served at Café du Quai were simply divine. Each dessert whisked me away to a heavenly place, indulging my taste buds in pure bliss. Trust me, you wouldn't want to miss out on these heavenly creations. In summary, Café du Quai offers a fantastic dining experience. With its outstanding beef filet, divine desserts, and attentive staff, it is a true gem in Hermance. One of the prettiest seen on the lake, the setting is really very pretty. The prices are matched to the frame, but are not at the maximum unfortunately. The mash was so salty that it must have been salted 3 times... The server didn't appreciate being told what we thought and was borderline polite!
