Ay Jalisco - Vero Beach

The supervisor here was horrendous!!!!! We came to eat here as a family and when the checks came each ticket had over 20 dollars in tip. (Mind you there was only two people per check) we kindly asked the waiter to take it off so we can put whatever we wanted to tip. When the supervisor came he stated the tip is MANDATORY and that he can’t take it off. I’m sorry but tips are never mandatory. He then took the “Mandatory” tip off and through the receipts on the table and stated “Here are your receipts and if you don’t want to come back then don’t come back!!! And walked away”. Horrible management, disrespectful to clients!!! Understand that without clients the restaurant doesn’t run and you don’t have a job!!!!

The supervisor's service was horrible, disrespectful, lack of customer service, to the point that he told us that if we did not want to return we would not return, a restaurant is based on its customers and that is not the way to treat it, his position shows that It is because his sister-in-law is the owner, as he himself told us, he wanted to impose an exaggerated tip on us and it was mandatory to pay whatever he said. What a shame people like that make good places go bad.
