Marten Brewpub & Grill - Vernon

Pleasant look to this spot. Sort of old fashioned industrial. It's a brewery after all. Food was quite good and service was pleasant and fast. Tried one of their own beer offerings. Very good red ale. My only criticism would be that it was a bit too warm inside. Not sure why that would be. It was a warm but not overly hot evening but the interior was a bit stuffy. It wasn't terribly busy being a weeknight.

The restaurant has undergone menu changes and has new ownership. Unfortunately, there is still no separate fryer available, but the staff is well-informed and there are alternative choices on the menu.

Pretty minimal GF options, and the ones they do have are fairly expensive (like the GF pizza). Most things listed as GF are cooked in a shared fryer so they unfortunately aren’t celiac friendly.

We didn't sample the beer, but the food was good. The service was friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was pretty cool. We would definitely return to try other items on the menu.

This place is great! I love the glass windows that showcase their brewing equipment and the industrial vibe of the pub. Don't forget to try the Lager Caesar too.
