Vernal Brewing Co

I ordered the black bean burger and brussels sprouts. The brussels sprouts came to the table topped in bacon. I said I was a vegetarian and please bring me some without the bacon. They left it on the table so I don 't know if I was charged for them or not, as my husband didn 't let me know. The black bean burger was good, but I asked for a lettuce boat meaning replace the bun with lettuce. I was given two very thin pieces of lettuce. They made an effort, but not a good one. I expected at least a few pieces of lettuce. I don 't think these tiny towns know how to accommodate vegans. It 's surprising since Salt Lake City has so many restaurants that do.

Great beer- they adapted several entree’s to be vegan. Had a vegan main dish on the menu. Their onion rings were some more of the best I have ever had- beer batter and vegan. Rare find in this part of the world! Updated from previous review on 2021-06-20

Wow. What a disappointment. Didn’t even get the opportunity to eat. Sat in our booth for 20 minutes and never got acknowledged. 3 people at the host station and they were clueless. Waitresses at tables right next to us, and nothing.

So few brewing establishments understand the potential food paring of carrot cake and a good IPA. The spices/flavors match and blend perfectly. I highly recommend leaving room for the carrot cake and an IPA at the end of a very good meal!
