La Queue De Poisson Inc - Verdun

This is a lovely restaurant, though pretty small so it is a little slow when tables are full. The fish and seafood were delicious, waiters were very nice. The deco is very cute! There is also a fish/seafood display you can buy from without sitting down to eat.

Went there last night for fish and chips (my partner), and fish and salad for me. It took forever and more to get served. Once we got served, the salad was soggy and with so much salad dressing...yuk AND the fries, well we don’t know how many times they were cooked but certainly more than twice or three times, dried up, dark brown fries. The fish was tasty but it was certainly not enough for me to ever want to go back. The bill was also high, so, in the end not a good experience.

We waited an 1hr and 40 mins for our meal (fish and chips) the restaurant had two other tables occupied at the time of the order. The waiter never came to apologize or ask if there was anything they could do. Even after he made two mistakes never even bothered to apologize for the mistakes instead he avoided our table the entire time. When It came to the check they never offered any type of reconciliation of their mistakes and terrible service only excuses. This evening was for mothers day and it left. I would never go there. On top of the terrible service the size of the fish was disappointing I'm sure I got more fish from a highlander fish stick.

Discover this restaurant whit the help of a friend . And I was really please whit this discovery. It was I bit late in the evening so I ate only a enter of popcorn shrimp . But I say it was good. I tasted the mussel and the oysters and they were really tasty. Especialy the tequila and oyster shot at the end of the meal. One great idea that the restaurant offer is the discovery menu . You can choose between 3,4,5 kind of fish ,in small portion. Great for the ones that want to sample the many fish the restaurant as to offer , at a reasonable price. The service was really friendly and the atmosphere is pleasent. I love the fact that you can buy the fish the sell , bayou decide to bring some home to cook. Will go back for sure.

So decided to have some fish across the road. I had the grilled tuna and an apple beer. The restaurant was busy but the service was fast but really nicely cooked with grilled vegetables and salad being tasty. Four sides are available but those were my choices. Lively and friendly. We also buy fresh fish here btw.
