Iced espresso and gelato are definitely worth a try.

The restaurant has a nice appearance, but it lacks consistency and proper sanitary practices. Prices are not displayed on the menu boards, like they are in Google Maps photos. As a result, I ended up paying significantly more than I expected. The food was tasty, but my enjoyment was ruined when I found a long knotted human hair in my blended drink halfway through. Honestly, after this experience, I have no plans to return to Palermo when I visit Ventura.

I ordered the gelato and it was amazing. The Cafe Mocha was delicious, and the restaurant offers a great variety of lattes and coffees. The best part was the enticing aroma of coffee that hits you as soon as you walk in. Incredible!

THIS is definitely the place to go for in the area. Friendly staff. Sit on the outside patio for the breeze. Sit inside if you love the smell of coffee I tried the coconut, hazelnut and mocho Gelati this time around. Quite tasty. You can savor the lush mocha flavor. Tastes like real coffee. The hazelnut is clustery... needs more cream in the mix to counter the powdery hazel. Texture lesson: If you've ever put peanut butter in a blender with water to make a dipping sauce, you know what I'm talking about. You need to add more liquid to smooth it out. Anyway, there is paid, metered parking all around. Pay at the pay station vibe. It's a touch pricy, but I like this place. I'll be back.

I have been coming to Palermo’s for many years, and their coffee is good, but I find it both perplexing and absurd that they refuse to list their prices anywhere lately, despite the fact that they have a board that lists each drink with a big empty space next to it. So they need to tell you the price of each thing verbally. When you ask them why they don’t list their prices, they look surprised, as if you are the first person who has ever asked. Meanwhile, all the customers in line around you agree that it’s bizarre. Hmmmm….
