The Fat Butcher - Ventersburg

Some of the best biltong I have had in my life. I travel a lot and end up in a lot of small towns with butcheries claiming to have the best, but this place is off the charts. Awesome service, clean, great prices and again that mind blowing biltong! Keep it up you guys are amazing!

Best biltong in SA. you will not find better billing anywhere. We got 500-600g of biltong going to bloemfontein and it was so good so we got 2,5 kg in the way back … cheap but excellent

We love the fat butcher and stop there at least 2 3 times a year while traveling to Cape Town. We always have the lamb pie and biltong for the road as well as a few pieces of Fudge!!! We can't resist!! The bathrooms are always clean and neat an added bonus! The home made gingerbeer is delicious

The Fat Bucher has the best biltong. We always stop here for some treats. They also have a lot of other foods, meats, drinks, sweet treats, sauces, etc etc Very clean and the service is great. Friendly people!!

I travel between Eastern Cape and Gauteng on a monthly basis, and i can't pass Ventersburg without stopping for the best biltong in South Africa. It's always a pleasure stopping here.
