The Venice Beach Kitchen

Great place to go upstairs and get an ocean view. Local quasi dive bar, but fully safe and decent. Not even a dive bar really, just a great boardwalk watering hole without the pretentiousness and bros of Waterfront or tourists of Ale House .

The palce was filled with people who knew each other. I think we were the only ones who had just been walking by and decided to stop in. 5 or 6 people had big dogs with them, and they were all friendly. A lpt of friends chatting, some watching college football on the many screens. We stayed for several hours and enjoyed feeling like we were part of the neighborhood.

Absolutely amazing. Dave was so helpful. Such a nice guy.

First trip to LA, went down to the beach for a visit and some food. This place is really good, service was excellent, plenty of room inside and out. Busy but not crazy, well priced drinks and food was really good. Would definitely come back if I return to LA.

Great service, beautiful view from the top floor, best fried pickles I had, bartender said they roast their own pimps there and I believe him. Tacos and rice are good burgers. Would highly recommend for lunch.
