My husband and I stopped here on our way to Miami. It was the total local spot and hidden gem. From the service to the quality of food. I say they are top-notch. The pricing of the food was justifiable, not very expensive, though. I had chorizo and egg scramble, and I loved it. My husband had the patty melt. It was extremely tasty. Our server was on point. He was busy but handled all his tables with finesse.

Mt favorite breakfast in Venice. Get there early if you want a scone.

Why do restaurants find the need to mess with menu items they refer to as “ Classic?” My daughter ordered the “classic” Benedict. What she thought was a regular Benedict and what she got was two different things. Most restaurants serve the regular breakfast sandwich with a slice of Canadian ham . This came with deli sliced thin ham like you would buy at Walmart in a tub . It literally had that plastic taste that tasted like cheap ham . The egg was a bit over cooked and the potatoes a bit under cooked . If I was a server, I would have asked if everything was ok because she sat there with a full plate of food as I did also . I never have had my biscuits and gravy served in a bowl , Presentation is everything and it was just too smothered . All I was getting was gravy in each bite . The server was nice . the tea was good. My daughter didn’t want me to say anything to her, but its important for restaurants to know . Our experience at the one in Gulf Gate was fantastic. This one ? I just don’t know how they have a 4.7 We got a to go box to give the dog the ham. And about an hour later, I had the worst stomach pains and runs, that I had to make an emergency pit stop at a store . Ive never

Food was a ten ! Great place for breakfast. About as friendly as it can get.

Great spot for grabbing breakfast or lunch, good selection of menu items. I've had good service, and not so good service, but it's definitely a popular spot and worth it.
