Chez Tex - Venice Beach

The food isn't as refined as it used to be. The menu was limited, with many items unavailable, leaving us with few choices. I loved this place when we first discovered it years ago, but it just isn't the same now—in a disappointing way. While the food was still good, it simply didn't reach the level of greatness I remembered.

We came in with my wife at around 6pm and right away the waitress was very attentive and started talking about the food and wine with so much knowledge and pretty much told us what eat and drink. I didn't have time to take more pictures but took a couple. The wine selection is out of this world and the food some of the best I've had in Venice. Thank you and will see you very soon.

Drinks were a bit pricey and options limited, but food was tasty and service was exceptional. I’d go back for the Ahi tuna alone.

It seems the food price really went up and the quantity went down.

Nice place with a cozy intimate vibe. Good for a date night.
