Pizza Del Corso - VENEZIA

Excellent for food and reasonably priced. Relaxed service and lovely food. Weekend night was busy, so get there early.

We had arrived in Venice, after a train journey from Rome, and this pizza place was around the corner from our hotel It is a small venue (not in a bad way) and there is seating available inside. The chef (photographed) spoke little English but was super attentive, helpful, and happily joked with us as well which created a very pleasant atmosphere overall! We were conscious of the time and asked the chef what time the place closed (response 11pm), and although we had arrived around 10:30pm he was still more than happy to take our order and was very accommodating even when we asked if it was okay to eat in rather than takeaway. On our first visit here we just ordered a simple large margarita (with basil, oregano and chilli flakes) It was so delicious, and the service was so great, that we re visited on our second day too! The second time around we ordered another large margarita (same as the previous day), as well as a pizza with bell peppers, onion, sweetcorn, olives (only on half) The chef didn't even have olives and sweetcorn available when we had requested it but he specially asked a colleague or friend to make a quick run to the nearby supermarket across the road just to get the ingredients for our pizza which was beyond our expectations and very kind! Needless to say, both pizzas were fantastic, the service was fun and professional, and we would certainly go back again if ever got the chance to re visit beautiful Venice!

Had a veg pizza and veg pasta. Both were horrible in taste. Had to just stuff it into our mouth as we didn't want to waste it. Never go there.

€8 for a pizza (grand, standard is €4) that fed two adults. Lovely pizza, not the best, but very good. Enjoyable meal at a reasonable price. Also Becks beer for €2.50 or local for €1.50.

Very good and warm pizza place! It is a cute and intimate place, with very nice and friendly stuff. If you want you can watch how is made your own pizza.
