Il Certosino - VENEZIA

This restaurant has recently changed the hands. the website shown on the ta is still live, but is not up to date. I ate here with friends when we spent a week kajak in the opposite of venice. we were in the certosa hotel that is the same website, but a separate business. the Resto business is newly founded and somewhat disorganized. for the first days there was no written menu, and the waiter was not clear about the difference between starter main etc. the confusion potential on all sides is high and a degree of geduld is required. eating is okay, but nothing special. baked fish proved to be very deep roasted tinted fish overcrowded and gum-like. a Gnocchi court was presented in an unusual color, but fortunately tasted better than it looked. we noticed that the plates of it were left by italians on an adjacent table uneaten. simple, honestly delicious Italian cuisine is in venice and the insulate for a reasonable price at midday when they avoid the tourist bits so that is what we did. most days with a pizza from the van at the top of the island in the evening. nb certosa is a small island and neither the resto not accept the pizza van credit card that is very uncomfortable and not really acceptable in

We had lunch here before we left with venedig kayak. food choices are essentially sandwiches, but the quality was good. also here for a few drinks after the trip. sat outside in a very nice opposite because the weather was good. very good.

This is part of the certosa hotel, restaurant and bar complex. in summer it is open daily. in winter I think that the hotel and the bar are open, but the restaurant is only open at the weekend. best to check

We were on a yacht in the marina. this restorante was a relaxing place to dinner with good service and beautiful view.

Great place to eat and relax after doing the Venice Kayak tour. I had a great vegetarian meal and my wife was in heaven with her seafood pasta. Friendly service.
