Good service and the seafood spaghetti is so good. eating in the inner is very comfortable because of the hot weather.
Good food, medium service ,high costs (15 € one litre of beer, 5,50 € water)
This restaurant has one great thing going for it: The location. It sits just south of the Rialto Bridge on the west bank of the Grand Canal. Great views of the Canal, the bridge and people watching. Contrary to other reviews, the staff was friendly and the service was decent. The food, however, is just barely meh. Truth be told, in our various visits to Venice we have never been wowed by any particular restaurant. There are a couple that we have really liked but the rest are by and large just mediocre. This one definitely falls into the mediocre (at best) category. You come here for the views, not the food, which is way overpriced. You are much better off heading into the areas away from the Grand Canal and finding a nice little cicchetti place like Bacarando or All'arco. The bottom line: Great views and people watching but the food is overpriced and mediocre. This is a tourist trap.
This looked like a nice place next to the canal and overlooking the Rialto bridge. The service was terrible and the food no better. This was one of the most expensive restaurants we visited in Venice but it was easily the worst. The waiters are young and spend their time casing the pedestrians passing by. There is obviously a language issue but that wasn't the problem. The waiters simply have no interest. Food took forever and was cold and tasteless. There are much better restaurants all over Venice for much less money. The family restaurants are the best.
