Albachiara - VENEZIA

Only went there for a dessert and coffee and it was excellent. Too bad that I discovered this on my last night, otherwise would have had dinner there. Prices extremely reasonable for home-cooked meals!

I traveled with our soccer team to Venice and we stayed in Campalto. We had reservation for lunch in the Albachiara restaurant. It was great. They seated all of the 28 of us right away and the food came out quickly. Four servings and ice cream to top it of. It was our first stop in Italy and most of us thought when we were done with the pasta that was it. But more pork and veggies and on and on it went. Friendly staff and it was nice to sit outside but under cover. Great food for a good price. Should I ever be in Campalto this place I would visit again

It's a simple but nice restaurant. Very pleased with the food and service. You can enjoy local taste Italian food for a very fair price here. We ordered lasagna, fusili, and peperoni pizza and leave nothing left. Highly recommended!

Homey, authentic, family restaurant. Very good food at reasonable prices. We appeared to be the only tourists in the place which was full of local families. Wonderfully friendly service and huge portions of very good pasta.

This restaurant on Via Gobbi in Campalto Venice was a great find. I asked a local where I could get good pasta and she directed me there. The kitchen was not open yet as it was only 7pm but was opening shortly after. We ordered pasta and lasagna but soon noticed pizzas going out at a rapid rate. They were obviously known for their pizza. We got our plates and the pasta/lasagna were home made and tasty. I have not had such an authentic pasta experience outside of an italian home like this before. The lasagna melted in my mouth. It was nearly at par with my mothers. If you are in Campalto, go there!!!
