Bidrage med feedbackSome years back I gave a very good review before the onset of Covid,when two things stood out about this restaurant cum art store on Bangalore Chennai highway run by 6 partners . Covid seems to have caught up with this restaurant too with regard to the quality of food that was served for breakfast although the huge patronage continues. IT HAS GONE down some notches .The Idli and Vada served were by comparison to their own established standard has gone down perhaps due to change in the head chef at this outlet . I am sure the management will take efforts to up the quality to their set standards and also the hygiene in the toilets could be even better . The art and condimen store tge management runs ,continues to sell worthy items .
This is my favourite restaurant whenever I pass through on national highway 44 connecting to Vellore from Bangalore, simple ambience, friendly staff, authentic food, a lovely shop selling amazing toys, artefacts and decorative items, there is enough parking, all the covid19 protocols are strictly followed.
Dear Hotel management: while driving from Bangalore we could see one Sign board for hotel direction installed at a height with 4.0 km , direction. being highway install boards on the highway for every KM until 500 meters till we reach the hotel from that board. yesterday I had visited and it was near miss to accident while I was trying to turn to hotel from highway. food and quality are good and service is best. I did not have an elaborate meal, but my short experience was not wow ! I was driving from Bangalore to Chennai on 25 dec 2019 and stopped at this restaurant at 8:00 AM for breakfast. I ordered Idly vada. They took 15 min long minutes to give this to me. Never waited for 15 min to eat idly vada because that is the fastest you can get, unlike Dosa or Poori. Vada was full of onion felt like eating an onion vada and not plain vada. Idly was good. Sambhar was not sambhar it was something else. Kurma was one of the side for idly vada. They had kept chutney on the table in a small container. I have this concept of keeping chutney on the table. I will explain why Kids may take chutney from the container and eat it directly and put the same spoon inside it for a second serving. After they leave, the same contianer will be refilled with more chutney for the next person. Thanks for sharing other taste buds via chutney. Toiles were clean. It also has a nice ramp. Lots of pottery and ceramic items to shop great idea. Krish
The manager taking orders at this restaurant in Vellore Highway does not provide a list of available menu options and only shows respect based on customers' appearances. Despite the tasty food, our experience was not enjoyable due to the lack of hospitality from the manager.
