There was a slight language barrier on my first visit, (even though I speak very good Spanish. The waitress is not a native Spaniard, but we got there in the end by me just repeating the phrases of what I wanted. Set in the main boulevard and not to busy as there is plenty of room in the street. There is indoors seating too, but most seem to prefer outside. Average prices for what it is.
Walking around Torre del Mar on the Sunday before Easter we came upon this restaurant. The waitress was kind enough to suggest a traditional dish served only at that time of year, tosta ajobaclaq, a fish/garlic spread on toast. Always fun to try something unique.
After walking around Torre del Mar center, we came across this place that had what we were looking for: traditional Spanish food. Filled with locals, we had a few cañas (beers) and ordered scrambled eggs with Spanish ham and a toast with tomato, cured ham and quail egg. Everything was served correctly and the flavors were right. It 's not outstanding but I think is a good option if you feel like eating something traditional rather than going to a chiringuito .
The meson art and solera is located at the entrance of the promenade of the river of the sea. is a table and restaurant where they also offer, in addition to toasts, presses and tapas, dishes such as a lamb pallet, a paella, noodles, bull bouquets, starry egg with potatoes and Iberian ham, etc. its situation is unbeatable, as it is located in the center of the sea tower, it has an inner living room divided into two areas where periodically expose a very good small Iberian cheese
Prices are very good and very rich. the waitress very attentive, so, all cool.
