Russells On The Port - Velddrif

We have had breakfast and lunch/dinner here. It is one of my favorite restaurants. It has an upmarket feel about it. The ambiance is calm, clean, and if you sit on the verandah you get a lovely view of the yachts and the Port. The food is very good. Service: 4 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view

Visited The Anchor which is the new name for the restaurant. Nice surroundings with a log firevbut still very cold inside. The service was extremely slow we waited 1hr for steak and chips. Food was good but wine overpriced. Tried to order desert good selection on the menu but waitron told us there was only ice cream available! For a Sunday lunch on Father's day it was underwhelming.
