Mama's Southern Style Bbq Ii - Vauxhall

This was my first time ordering and I was blown away!! The food arrived hot and flavorful. I ordered the the whiting dinner with Mac and cheese and cabbage. It was delicious!! I will definitely order with Mamas Southern Style bbq 2 again!!! Thank you so much!

I had the pleasure of serving her for my mother 70. Birthday bash 8/28/22. When I say u, I was very happy with everything. From order last minute to food. Food was amazing, customer service was more than 5 stars. I really want to give a special thanks to Aisha. I really hope I spell it right. She was very patient with me because I was stressed throughout this whole thing. She assured me she could do it and she did. So if someone looking for soul food similar to Mom?s or Nana?s do it, check it out?????????

The other day for dinner I got Mama?s Southern Style BBQ II. I ordered their Oxtail platter w/ Double Collard Greens a side of Baked Mac. I really did not want to like the Oxtails, but they were actually really really good. The Oxtails were extremely tender, had excellent flavor, and the gravy they were in was more on the Smothered Chicken gravy side. Their Collard Greens are phenomenal. Seasoned great and the amount they give you is awesome as well too. The baked Mac on the other hand, they def changed up their recipe over the years and for better, but the last few times I got them they were exceptional! Absolutely love Mama?s. It?s some exceptional SoCo food. If anyone is in the Vauxhall area, would highly recommend Mama?s if you?re looking for some excellent Southern Comfort food! Also try their Fried Chicken Platter. You really can not go wrong with Mama?s.

I ordered from Mama's Southern Style BBQ yesterday and I wasn't pleased. I ordered 1/4 chicken 1/4 beef ribs with 2 sides of 1/2 pint of green beans and 1/2 pint of potato salad. In addition, I requested a pint of Mac Cheese, a pint of Spanish rice, a pint of sweet yams, and three additional cornbreads with hot bbq sauce on the side. I was expecting the plate that was given to me to only have the meat I ordered and the sides in the 1/2 pints on the side. Instead, I received a little portion of the two types of meats with one serving of Mac Cheese and one serving of Yams. The potato salad was missing from my original order. The menu itself is confusing and overpriced. The young women who answer the line weren't that pleasant. I was placed on hold to speak to someone else. If they're going to answer the phone lines, please advise your customers what they're getting in each small platter. This meal I ordered should have been sold as I was told. My meat should have been only in the tray and the sides should have been in the 1/2 pints. I paid 76 dollars for little food. Very disappointing.

It was nice to go into a place and see how naturally the employees worked together, my son and I ordered our food to go, the food was absolutely delicious the beef ribs were cooked to perfection, everything was cooked to perfection. The customer service was excellent, the white glove effect. My son thoroughly enjoyed his fish! Mama?s will definitely get a revisit from me!
