Le Buffet Marocain - Vaux-sur-Mer

We were and chose couscous and first note the kitchen of mummo: extra! Everything was very good and copied...But, there is one but... the service... the person performing this task was of a rare incompetence.... She arrives with the meat dish...and asks us to make room ... on the table we had already grouped our empty aperitif glasses... that they left ... it had to be remembered so that she would serve the glasses...I don’t speak of the orders... of the water... but the pumpon is reached at the time of the desserts... they are at the room, presented in brief

Imperial couscous to take away from the top nothing to say, ordering for there is for all is excellent. Thank you.

Came here last year, impressed then and ditto, impressed again. Service is prompt and unfussy; food is delectable, really well cooked. The starters were particularly impressive. As always the tanginess were beautifully spiced and filling, though the cous cous seemed a bit sparse, would have benefited from a bit more of that. Nonetheless, a lovely, enjoyable evening.

Our friend and host Gerard recommended this North African restaurant. Had a superb evening. The lamb tagine and cous cous were beautifully cooked. I know how difficult it is to cook the perfect cous cous and this was majestic. The wife enjoyed her meal immensely. The service was unhurried and the atmosphere was relaxed and sedate. Will be back when we return to Royan in August.
