The staff at this restaurant were very knowledgeable and made sure to reassure me about the precautions they take, such as using a separate fryer and offering gluten-free sauce. I had no adverse reactions at all and can honestly say that their poutine is the best I've ever had.
If you have a gluten allergy or Celiac disease, this restaurant is moderately safe, scoring 80%. I felt unwell 2 out of 10 times and had no issues 8 out of 10 times. The possibility of cross-contamination is likely because a dedicated fryer for those with Celiac is used upon request.
I called ahead to inquire about gluten-free options and if the fries were cooked in a separate fryer. They assured me that they were, but when we got there, they informed us that everything was fried together, leading to cross-contamination.
The poutine was delicious, but unfortunately I got sick afterward. I don't think it's safe for people with celiac disease.
