Vashon Thriftway Deli

I feel so happy that we have such an excellent food store on our small island. They have almost everything I could want as a cook, with the exception of some special items of Indian origin. And if you want something special, they will always try to order it for you. They also treat their employees very well, and it shows how friendly and helpful the employees are.

Friendly friendly staff, expansive deli counter custom sandwiches and Burrito bar is my favorite, chicken strip waffle fries kids favorite). Floral counter, espresso bar, breeder, wine. Butcher/ high quality fish counter. A little of everything, if only a few brands instead of every manufacturer of Pickles, for example. I will note that how everything is towed by the ferry: a) prices are higher b) for very narrow expiration data on meat and fruit and vegetables and bread. Use them if you basically buy them. This means it is a great place to shop and it seems a good employer / offers full benefits.

Great business. Great people. Endless amount of unique foods. Would you like to have a shop where I live?

Thrifty was good, but the island itself was very less than impressive. Absolutely nothing to do. I won't return.
