Owners in Vars and lovers of the region, we go to the resort in summer and winter, where we frequent many establishments, food stores, restaurants, bars and sometimes even hotels when our apartment is occupied by our children. We dined at Chal'Heureux and each time enjoyed these moments. During a walk this summer 2023, we stopped to have drinks and pies for a snack. Bad idea, bad surprise when we had to pay the sum of 57 euros for 3 pies, 1 water syrup, 1 Perrier, 1 cooler and an ace tea. I am sending you an alert, because you are in a magnificent site, the resort is working to promote the region by improving the infrastructure and offering activities for children, soon a new swimming pool will be made available. Unfortunately, I think that the practice of such high prices will necessarily limit the attendance of your establishment, families being subject to financial choices, knowing that other establishments like Basse Rua, charge much more reasonable prices, 27 euros for the same drinks and with 1 pie less. The choice is yours. For my part, I will return to Vars of course, I will not change my mode of operation, but perhaps I will avoid the snack in your establishment.. Damage.....

We had a coffee and a pie. What was not our surprise when we saw that our blueberry pie was charged 11 euros!! It's really exaggerated because the part was small and the whipped ball and the superfluous raspberry coulis on a dessert like that. The blueberry pie of the rua hut is much better and cheaper, 7 euros. Service: 4

Small break during a hike, I wanted a cold drink. A Monaco precisely.. the setting is certainly pleasant, but when I arrive at the checkout, I am told 5€30 for a beer with a little grenadine, what indecency!.. I live on the French Riviera and I don't have never paid so much! Here we are in the mountains.
