The place has a great lively buzz that carries Italian warmth elegance. The drinks are exquisite and the food bites irresistible. You can stay there easily for a couple of hours without taking track of time. What's more, on the way out, you might be tempted to take one of their stunning cakes. Superb. Italy at its best.

Spazzio Pirola's terrace was a great find after strolling the streets of Varese on a warm Sunday afternoon. The Aperol Spritz and local white wines were served cold along with a generous selection of freshly hand-made small bites/appetizers making this a great location to sit under the palms and people watch!

Sono tornato in questo ristorante per un aperitivo, invitato dagli amici. Nella sala c'era un noto politico e diversi camerieri si aggiravano per offrire il miglior servizio possibile, ma solo al suo tavolo. Casualmente, siamo stati fatti sedere al tavolo accanto, in una posizione privilegiata che, insieme al fatto che i miei amici sono clienti fedeli, ci ha permesso di essere trattati da principi: piatti ripetuti e abbondanti, possibilità di scegliere il cameriere e servizio molto veloce. Non so quanto abbia pagato (ovviamente un'enormità) perché ero ospite, ma una cosa è certa: non tutti i clienti sono trattati allo stesso modo! E questo non sembra giusto.

Ho trovato questa pasticceria a Varese e si capisce subito il livello superiore. In vetrina c'è un cesto di frutta candita e di croccante che mi invita ad entrare e li compro insieme a dei biscotti di carnevale. Il canestro che ho dato a mia figlia non è solo bello da vedere, ma anche delizioso... originale, ben fatto con la frutta candita. Consigliato.
