Pineta - VARESE

Great stop for lunch before they drive to sacromonte. we were a family of 5 and we plan on drinks only, but decided to panini, aperol splash and local beer. great outdoor seats with many sun umbrellas and a beautiful brise. that leads the way. directly to the church and the museum. nothing beautiful but great prices (39.50euro) and fast service.

Our group of 14 (12 Americans and 2 Italians) rose on this bar by 14:05 on a raw, rainy Monday end of October, after we discovered all the sacro monte restaurants and attractions (save for the santuario di santa maria del monte) were...closed we were hungry and frustrated, but the bar staff immediately sat to make us comfortable. they all pushed their tables together to create a long diagonal that sat all of us, and had to take orders. they did not protest against the usual tourist coffees, how to drink coffee before they ate the sandwich. we had such a good time to talk to us that when the food came, some of us could not even remember which panini we had ordered. most of us were not interested in us that we only wanted to eat something to calm our hungerpangs, but our server was determined to work out the dings. the sandwiches and rollups were satisfied, and we were all in a much better humor than we were when we arrived. this little bar was a retaliatory float for us. the cost was also very modest. two further notes: 1) the prospects of this location must be stupendous. Fortunately, we could see little during the storm weather this day. 2) there are no toilets; instead they are on the public toilets down a long flight of uneven stone stairs, and around the corner on the street below.

A great place to stop for a snack near the holy mountain of varese. good offer of sandwiches and focaccias, many outdoors. for the services he puts on the public toilets below, found, but perhaps thanks to the low turnout from a weekday, in excellent condition. prices in the norm
