By the Way - Varca

I travel to Goa regularly, and I don't particularly enjoy Indian food. However, this hasn't been a problem for me since discovering By The Way, a restaurant located near The Zuri Hotel. The staff at this restaurant are incredibly friendly and accommodating, willing to customize their menu to suit your preferences. I was pleasantly surprised to find a variety of cuisines such as Italian, Spanish, Russian, and 'English' food, all of which were freshly prepared and delicious. Additionally, they offer a selection of desserts that satisfy my sweet tooth. My husband, who enjoys curry, was pleased with the options available. We are already looking forward to returning next year to say hello to Manod, the owner.

This beachside restaurant is situated next to Zuari Sands Hotel on Varca beach. The owner, Manoj, serves up delicious food using high-quality ingredients and ensures that the dishes cater to the taste preferences of customers. We enjoyed a flavorful tandoori shark, kingfish rice curry, chicken steak, and topped it off with some Brandy. Definitely recommend paying a visit.

Travelling to Goa regularly and not liking Indian Food could be a problem, but not for me since I found By The Way, a restaurant just round the corner from The Zuri Hotel. The staff could not be more helpful and friendly and are prepared to adapt their menu to suit you. I was able to enjoy Italian, Spanish, Russian and 'English' food which was freshly prepared and very tasty. They also do a variety of deserts, which I crave, having quite a sweet tooth. My husband enjoys a curry and they have a good range. We are really looking forward to visiting them again next year and when can say another Hello to Manod, the owner.

Having been to Goa for the past 14 years and having tried many restaurants and shacks in both the North and South, I can confidently say that this restaurant is as good as any and better than most. The food, whether Indian, continental, or Chinese, was excellent. Even my wife, who doesn't eat spicy food, had no problem as the food was cooked to her taste without any difficulty. I highly recommend the Tandoor Shark and Tiger Prawns, while my wife loved the various pastas, steaks, and fish dishes. She also indulged her sweet tooth with the delicious desserts. The complimentary brandy at the end of the meal was a nice touch. The service was exceptional, with the staff being friendly and accommodating, willing to adjust the pace of service to our preferences. The prices were reasonable and the overall quality was top-notch. If you find yourself in the area, this restaurant is a must-visit. It's absolutely fantastic.

This beach shack is located next to the Zuari Sands Hotel on the Varca beach.Manoj the owner runs it with some good food for its cooking ingredients & service keeping in mind the taste requirements of his customers.We had a tasty tandoor shark,king fish rice curry & chicken steak topped up with some Brandy.Worth a visit.
