Makris Lobster Steak House - Vapi

I wasn’t surprised that the food at the Mother’s Day buffet was only so-so, since it was a busy day. We also had the option to order a limited selection from the regular menu and that was the problem. The 9 people in our party who chose the buffet were finishing dessert when the 3 in our party who ordered off the regular menu were finally served their meals. Within minutes, a rude man, Shane, came to our table and informed us that they had a larger party of 18 that needed our table immediately. I hadn’t finished my (actually good) Mimosa but I got up and left. I don’t know what the rest of the group did with their unfinished food because we left in different cars. Regardless, I know enough not to linger in a busy restaurant and Macri’s won’t be getting a second chance to kick me out.

Always great seafood. Scallops are big and plump, and the clams are briny and full.

It used to be called The Lobster Pool...we walked in April 2024..the young lady sat us down. We waited 15 min...noone came . I went to the front and asked for a waitress. A different girl said to me who sat you as if to say I sat myself. She was rude. A waitress eventually came over. The salads were wilted. My lobster was sparse. I had also asked for it to be fried but came scampi. I kept anyway. It was good but now what I asked for and had like 4 pieces yet I asked for the medium helping. My husband's crab legs were good he said and got his 50$ worth. But his salad dressing tasted off. My son had chicken tender and they were good. Someone came over and introduced himself as a new owner. Maybe it just needs time to get it together. Dishes used to be full plates and looked like your money's worth.
