What I loved most was Coca Cola in a glass bottle 10/10

Hubs and I parked at the TA and walked over. We shared the carnitas platter and the El Gordo shrimp platter. Everything was well seasoned and we received large portions. The carnitas were perfectly cooked- meaty, moist on the inside with little crispy edges. the Shrimp were plump and a little spicy. ? would highly recommend

Passing through Concordia traveling from Colorado to Floria, we stopped at El Patron and are happy we did. This family owned restaurant is delightful with a clean and authentic atmosphere, friendly and professional staff, tasty food, and generous and yummy margaritas. You won't be sorry if you make this stop traveling between KC and St Louis!!!!

I asked for what was left of both of the jumbo margaritas we didn't finish to go and they made me 2 new margaritas to go instead and charged them as jumbos even though they were noticibly in a smaller container then the jumbo margaritas glass. I asked another guy working there to tell the guy I noticed making them I meant I wanted the margaritas I had to go and he walked off and did nothing to stop the guy while he preceded to make the other margarita. I liked there food a lot and I was starting to go there a lot but that changed once I was taken advantage of.

Nice place to stop in for a quick meal.Vegetarian options: The chile rellenos are top notch.
