The Cabin Restaurant & General Store

We couldn't be more pleased with our dining experience! We arrived very late on a Sunday, but the staff was kind enough to accommodate us and serve our meal quickly (even though we usually like to take our time to savor our food). The food was tasty and the service provided by Chris and Mariah was top-notch - they were so polite and attentive. We highly recommend stopping by this restaurant, just keep in mind that they close a bit earlier in small towns. Thank you to Chris, Mariah, and the kitchen staff for a wonderful evening!

The service was excellent. It's wonderful that they have re-opened. We have been waiting for this. The fish and chips were delicious. A fantastic place for dinner. We will definitely be returning.

We have dined at this restaurant many times and each visit has been a wonderful experience. The servers are friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall dining experience. I highly recommend trying the edamame, as it is tasty and unlike anything I have had before. The speck-wrapped jalapeños are also incredibly delicious. The restaurant is located in a beautiful building with large windows overlooking the lake.

It was about a minute drive west of prince george when a short road to kayak was reached. it was canada day, the afternoon was the sun hot, the lake was calm for kajak. when we were past our start, we saw a large cabin structure with a terrace that thought we would check it on our return. after a few hours on the lake we invite our kajaks to the cabin restaurant. the large windows offer a great view of the lake, the outside terrace was perfect to sit relax. it has a dock if you want to move up, go on. the menu was pretty good km sure that someone could find something to match their taste. the service was excellent, not stuffy not casual (as they might expect for outside in the middle of nowhere). it was personal, interaktiw, attentive, and made them feel that they made the right decision, past, but I think they could want to stop if they want to come by the evening. we enjoyed a beer from a local brewery in prince george, which is a beautiful change of tempos, instead of always the mass produced wills, they get everywhere. we shared a pizza that was very tasty and later we thought we had ordered one that was so good. after some time, the birds escape to watch next to the terrace, we ordered dessert that was the perfect destination until the late afternoon. I would recommend checking this place. I think they have limited hours so call them before or check their FB page for information (they could also be seasonal).

This restaurant left somthing to be desired as far as the food is concerned, which was disappointing. This was our third time here and we were hoping things would have improved with time. The service was great and Chris was very attentive and friendly. The...Cabin itself is very nice and the view is good although it would be better with more brush cleared to the lake. The ribs were difficult to eat and cut through placed on top of the fries and a little tough. The prawns tasted good, but were not deveined and I found myself pulling the vein out of my mouth after each bite. At this price point I feel there is still room for improvement, although they were missing a chef on the day we were there.
