Bidrage med feedbackI lived in Thailand for a yearI had to eat Thai food for sometimes three meals a day.
My regular Thai joint to get my Thai food hitNot as authentic as I'd like to be but I can't be too picky for the price and location.
I love the hot and sour coconut soup when I am sick. It always makes me feel better and opens up the tastebuds!
I do too. Tiny restaurant that makes a large effort for authenticity. When I go on photographic forays with my buddy who really knows his Thai food, having been to the country on a number of occasions, we often end up here. Today, we had chicken satay, chicken massaman curry, a salad and a large bowl of Tom Yum Goong. Brown rice and white rice. Thank goodness I had walked in hungry on a day of seemingly endless rain. I nearly managed to finish it. This is a very small restaurant with maybe six or seven tables for two. They do a very steady take-out trade and I have been fortunate to always get a table immediately with only one delayed seating. Somewhat restricted washroom facilities and don't count on it being available especially during peak times. All in all, another enjoyable visit.
When we visit Vancouver, Thai Basil is always our go to place for delicious food. The food is always consistently good. The vegetarian dishes are among my favorite. Friendly staff and fast service you can always count on.
