Bidrage med feedbackAfter noticing this restaurant while walking by, we decided to give it a try thinking it was just a typical sushi spot. To our surprise, they only accepted reservations so we made one for the upcoming weekend. It turned out to be the best sushi we've ever had! While it may be on the pricier side, it is definitely worth it. This is a perfect spot for a romantic date night or any special occasion.
Wonderful experience. The chefs were attentive and the food was wonderful. I’ll go back again when they are licensed as I like to have sake with my sushi but it was wonderful and filing. Oishii!
Food is good. Exceptional quality among Japanese omakase restaurants I tried in Canada. A little bit modern style compared to those traditional omakase. The appetizers were okay but could have more thoughts being put into them. The sushi was really good. Fresh ingredients were used with delicacy. The only thing that could be done better was the seaweed sheet was a little bit damp and not crunchy enough. Although I saw they were trying to move really fast when serving the food with seaweed, I did notice that they did not keep the seaweed sheet container close after use. The seats were very crowded and it’s difficult for a left hand user to sit in. In my understanding omakase is letting the chef taking care of you, so in most cases the chef would noticed that I am a left hand user and shift the direction of the sushi for me but I didn’t get that here. In conclusion, the sushi was really good, many things to improve for this young restaurant. I live in this neighborhood so I will keep visiting there to see if any good changes happen.
The omakase experience at this restaurant was exceptional, with kind, earnest, and humble service provided by highly skilled chefs. This place is truly a hidden gem in Vancouver's restaurant scene.
Fancy sushi bar in an unexpected neighbourhood, welk-priced quality omakase, bar seats for 8 ppl
