Bidrage med feedbackI was a few times in this cafe. good food and nice place. never disappoints us. French toast and clam chowder have to try.
I went for high tee and had a nice meal. the hearty kanapes were excellent. I loved mainly the shrimp cocktail, roasted filled mushrooms as well as skalopp and lobster bites. the prosciutto and spatula were nice. the tomats on the paprikamüse had...less taste, but the balsamic reduction was very, very good. the sweets were also delicious and I liked the cream buffer. I may be unusual that I am more concerned about the tee, then the sweet tasty. I never had cusmi tee and was uncertain about the brand. I had hoped that lapsang souchong, but they had no smoking tees available. after consulting with the personal I choose the Russian morning tea, which was a mix of ceylon and china black tea. it was excellent. the tee was served in a clear teepot over a warming candle with beautiful porcelain capes. the staff was very friendly and attentive. they answered all my asking and I had a nice conversation with the young lady behind the counter. overall soffee cafe was a great experience. beautiful tee, beautiful atmosphere, nice personal and excellent kanapes.
Five friends for high tea had a great time. this cozy place with 5 or 6 tables has a beautiful ambiente, with beautiful china and much pointed. no complain about the service that was attentive and accurate. that was excellent, my favorites were. the skordeon and lemon. my selection of tee was anastasia, which was a full-bodied earl grey with strong mountain amotte notes, exactly what I wanted. my opinion is high tea only ever on the fairmont, but I really enjoyed this high tea and will recommend to others. I was surprised at the cross-section of the people who were there to eat lunch and get a sandwich. if I worked in the opposite, I would also check it for the weekday dinner. a few nitpicky dinge could be thought better: 1. the forks are the smallest forks I have ever seen. they made themselves a bit clumsy to eat, as my fingers were coordinated as huge sausages that treat a needle and thread. I would suggest a little bigger forks. 2. the deli case for the lunch article draws something from the ambiente of the high tea, as well as the traffic to the restaurant to buy these items. 3. Although it is explained on the website, it is difficult to know how to pronounce soffee. that makes it uncomfortable when you try to talk about where you go. despite the above mentioned dinge we had a great time and enjoyed our experience.
A dear friend recommended soffee cafe and I am so excited about this wonderful cafe, I just have to share my impressions. from the moment when I went in the door, I felt a warm, welcoming atmosphere that was surrounded by an elegant and traditional decor that felt me... as if I were in an elegant analyst. I have the it, the top and all. I can't do enough about soffee cafe rave. andy was so charming and pleasant. he has a victor personality and knows how to run a first class place with excellent food. it is one of the rare places where you can find the coveted Russian/Parisien kusmi tee. that's a tasty bite. the love for detail is impressive and I must say that the buttermilk sweets are divine. I loved the green ginger smoothes and the light spinach/cheese crepe was perfect. there are many interesting options on the menu and even a vegetarian option for high tea that definitely fits my needs. it is nice that they also have a demi high tea if you don't want so many 'courses'. which is also beautiful, is that the small caffe is quiet, intimate and ideal if you want to visit with friends and enjoy the beautiful ambiente. there is a beautiful bathroom as well as a beautiful art throughout. soffee cafe is a winner and I cannot wait to return,
The food was pretty good but the ambiance in the small cafe was great. The soup was great my beef panini was tasty but the content made it rather soggy the lemon tart we shared. Next time I will have a crepe, and...ask for a non vinegar dressing on my salad.
