Complete accident We were just looking for a late night bite.

Great cocktail bar, and also some very good food. I've never had a bad experience here.

I stopped here at 815pm on a Tuesday and bought a cocktailThe cocktail tasted around how I expected it to taste given the listed ingredients.

This is a great spot right in the heart of Gastown. I've been here many times - finally got round to writing a review.Nice bar area - sit by the windows at the communal table if you want to people watch the street.Get the table right by the kitchen if you want to see all the activity, smell the great aromas and "feel the buzz". Kind of like eating at home but with expert chefs a few feet away.The oddly shaped table at the kitchen end of the bar is good for 5 or 6 people for business drinks after work - you are close enough to hear each other and far enough away to not feel "intimate". And room to lay down some nibbles. I'll say it again later but try the Scotch Eggs. Seriously.Recommended for cocktails - the bartenders really know their craft.

Went to watch the jazz trio which were great on Sunday night. Loved the Sax player very talented. Food was great. Bartenders were friendly. Seemed a bit special and away from the Gastown touristy stuff. Seemed to have more of a local vibe than just milkimg tourists for their cash.
