Bidrage med feedbackOne of my favorite sushi restaurants in the city. It's worth every penny.
Vancouver's cosmopolitan side is reflected in this sushi bar, music lounge along Granville. It has modern surroundings, an open kitchen in the Italian trattoria fashion. Late night after 9PM, you can avail of the all you can order lunch menu at $13. You get a maximum of 6 pieces sashimi per diner, so I suggest 3 salmon, 2 tuna and 1 snapper. The oyster motoyaki is oily but great comfort food. the spicy scallop and spicy tuna cones are wonderful as is the agedashi tofu. the beef teriyaki is a bit fatty, but okay. I would give the suimono a miss, but the miso soup is great as are the veggie tempura and beef curry rice. Polite and attentive service without the grouchiness of many other all you can eat places. Widescreen flat screen TV with hockey.
My husband and I stumbled on Point Zero while visiting Vancouver for a concert, the hostess outside was very friendly and advertising a Happy Hour so we decided to go in and check it out. Point Zero had a Great Happy Hour menu with several types of sushi and other options at great prices! The service was fast and friendly, food was really delicious and the atmosphere was fun. The menu is pretty large with a range of options (Sushi , Noodles, BBQ), definitely something for everyone. There is a great cocktail menu too! We will definitely visit again when we are in Vancouver.
I typically visit this place for drinks on weekends, but this is my first time dining here.
Attended a private event at this restaurant. - There are a total of 4 individual washroom stalls. - The interior and lighting have a dark, red hue. - It can be somewhat challenging to have a conversation due to the ambiance.
