Bidrage med feedbackI really love their beef and tendon Szechuan noodle soup.. And the Xiao long Bao are juicy goodness! I have only been for lunch, so we will have to try the dinner sometime soon
Ningtu is a small Chinese restaurant that’s been around for over 2 decades on Kingsway, on the same block as Happy Family Restaurant. The interior has an odd L-shape with the restaurant frontage smaller than it is in the back of the establishment. The Peking Duck $38.95 for 2 courses) was pretty solid. While super thin, the duck skin was very crisp and had a modest amount of duck meat attached to it. I really appreciate the nice wrappers that they have here… instead of stacking them like pancakes which sometimes makes it difficult to pick up and separate), each wrapper was folded and laid out so it was easy to pick up.
Haven't been to this place for over 10 years. I used to like their Chinese donuts a lot. Too bad they don't serve it during dinner time. Food quality is great just like the old days and the price is really reasonable. We paid less then $20 per person.
Surprisingly good! We had wanted to try out the Japanese place around the corner, but they were completed full for the night. So we decided to try out NingTu- so glad we did! They have Peking duck for a very affordable price (duck prepared 2 ways; 1 Peking duck, 1 lettuce wrap: $30 ish .Their hot and sour noodles were actually decently spicy, and their xiao long bao wasn't bad. Juicy! Will come back :
My girlfriend and I literally just finished lunch here. Service is on par and friendly. We ordered the salted soy bean soup and it's delicious. It's big enough to share for two people and it's $2.50. You can have it hot or cold. Then we got the sticky rice with donut and pickled cabbage. Very nicely done. Then the Shanghai soup dumplings, very tasty. It was a nice lunch and the bill came to 13 bucks after taxes, not too shaby. I would love to come again and try other items<br/
