New Chong Qing Restaurant - Vancouver

Came here for lunch with my cousin because there's a groupon online.

I have been to the Chongqing old west broadway location and the new international village location around 6-8 times.

I came here for dinner tonight and the service suckedIts also very dark inside so it looked closedIt took them a while to even give us tea.

New Chongking is not fancy but they can cook! I had a delicious Kung Pao chicken, no breading, no sickeningly sweet sauce just spicy goodness. My partner had shredded pork dish with crunchy slivered veggies, mmmm. All on top of yam noodles that had been cooked in a tasty broth, with a side of gingery stir fried veggies. Reasonable price. Good service. Basic decor. Bring your appetite.

I only had delivery with this restaurant for multiple times, I can say this is the most authentic Sichuan cuisine restaurant that you could find in Vancouver. Def worth a try if you like spicy food.
