Love For Pho - Vancouver

This restaurant serves the most delicious noodles in the city!

The service at this restaurant is extremely slow. I had to wait almost an hour to receive my pho, and when it finally arrived, it was missing some items. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she brought out one piece of the missing item cut up to make it look like four. The food itself is not worth the high price, as it is mediocre and not any better than other standard restaurants.

Formerly a great choice for pho with a pleasant staff, although slightly expensive, the experience was worth it. However, I am now downgrading my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars. I am quite particular about my pho and have noticed a decline in quality, with soggy noodles and a lack of essential herbs like cilantro and saw leaf. I prefer my beef on the side so I can cook it to my liking, but this request was ignored. It appears that the chefs are no longer as attentive or invested in their cooking, and the overall care put into the dishes has decreased. This was once one of my favorite pho spots, along with Petite Saigon, but I left feeling disappointed.

Pho broth is overly salty but service is good. Large portions but needs to work on flavouring.
