Bidrage med feedbackTasty and hot pho for a cold evening in the winter. The service was fast and good. the atmosphere medium, the drinks were well prepared.
The restaurant is not huge but it has personality! This incredible mural is painted along the back wall separating the diners from the kitchen. The decor is simple but classy with a touch of foodie fun. Their Happy Hour deal is quite incredible. You get three items off their eight-item menu for just $12. What a fantastic deal.I got their Prawn & Pork Salad Roll with their peanut sauce. I LOVE that peanut sauce. OMG, delicious!!! Everything was so fresh and clean, no MSG…If this is the mini Pho, I can not imagine how big the regular Pho must be! I added the garnishes, lime juice and then tasted a spoonful and knew there was something missing. Usually when I order Pho, it is take out and there are all these little sauces you add. I asked my server what I was missing. A NEW sauce! They have a SPICY hoisin for the Pho. Oh yeah… Much better! I did not find it super spicy, just incredibly flavourful and exactly what the Pho needed.I ordered the pork spring rolls but many of these appetizers had vegetarian options. These are available in veggie and tofu. Dipped in their dip-able fish sauce (which still blows my mind that they created such a genius foodie product) it made these crunchy treats a little funky in the best of ways. Damn! You can read my full review of my site Suzie the Foodie.
They had a Happy Hour Special where you could choose three dishes from a list for $12, which was an amazing deal. While others around me ordered big bowls of Pho for similar prices, I opted for a variety of dishes and was not disappointed. The Mini Bowl of Pho was bigger than what you usually get at other restaurants, and I had it with rare beef. I added bean sprouts and Thai basil, along with hoisin sauce and chili oil. It was delicious, though I don't have much to compare it to. Next, I had the Shrimp and Pork Salad roll, which was simple but tasty, and came with a side of peanut sauce. It wasn't as good as the Pho, but it was a great addition to the meal. Finally, I had half of a Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi. My only complaint was that it was served on a sub roll instead of a baguette, but it didn't take away from the flavors. The chicken was flavorful and went well with the Banh Mi veggies. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and was impressed by the generous portions for such a low price. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant. It's clear why so many locals dine here - great job, Little Saigon! Thank you.
The food at this restaurant is excellent, with generous portions that may even be too big. Located on Pacific Blvd, the atmosphere is nice and the service is good. It's definitely worth the walk from Seymour 700 St.
Visiting Vancouver for work and was walking by and spotted this restaurant, and my stomach pulled me in! What a great choice! The pho is the best I've had in Vancouver so far! The chicken wings and fried calamari is a must!!! Place was very clean and the no msg was a big plus!!
