Bidrage med feedbackWe ordered from the set meal menu where you can pick from a good list of dishes. The meal comes with soup and a plate of chicken. Very good portion size and it was too much food for us. Taste wise, it is quite reasonable.
King's Chinese Cuisine is yet another good dim sum place in a city full of dim sum places. The only complaints I had are that the mustard was too runny and they don't give you enough Worcestershire sauce with the beef balls. Also, the W/C facilities are down a flight of stairs and therefore not wheelchair accessible. Not recommended for anyone who has too much trouble walking!
This has to be the least expensive good Chinese food restaurant in Vancouver. Also it has the atmosphere from Chinese restaurants gone by. The floor is run by one hard working lady and someone who appears to be her sister. Beer is 3 dollars. The crowd is extremely unpretentious as you can imagine but lacks almost any 'white people ' . Where are the local hipsters eating? They obviously don 't know a real hip place even when it 's right in their neighbourhood.
Good but dirty. I know lots of Chinese spots are dirty but this one is really dirty especially when busy. Food is usually pretty good though.
A good place to go. If you see a lineup of older chinese folks at a chinese dim sum restaurant, you know 2 things. It is priced right and the food will be of reasonable quality.King's hits it on the mark on both.We had the usual dim sum orders. Har gow, shui mai, spring rolls, steamed bbq pork buns, chicken feet, shrimp in rice noodles, salt and pepper squid, shredded chicken chow mein, and egg tarts. The only miss was the squid. Nicely fried and not too oily bt lacking in the salt and garlic.Overall, a good taste experience for our family.
